A gunman made off with an “unknown” amount of
money from the Check Advance business on the 900-block of Park Boulevard last
Wednesday.
According to Lieutenant Tod Sockman of the
West Sacramento Police Department, the suspect entered the check-cashing business
at 10:56 a.m., then “removed a handgun from the waistband of his pants and
demanded money.” He took the cash and fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male, age
20-30, about 5’6” to 5’8” tall, 180 pounds, with short black hair and a moustache.
He was wearing a black “LA’ baseball hat with white stripes, a black hooded
jacket, white polo shirt with horizontal stripes, black pants, and black shoes.
